Overview
We generally seek to work with companies having experienced, goal-oriented management teams focused on the execution of sound business models.
WestPark says it targets mature, profitable companies with high historical growth but also explores earlier-stage businesses that larger banks may overlook or that cannot obtain conventional bank financing.
Richard Rappaport founded WestPark Capital in Los Angeles in 1999. The firm built its business on public offerings and private placements for small and emerging-growth companies, marketing a share-exchange listing product called the WRASP by 2010 and later its Structured IPO (SIPO), a private placement followed by an IPO. Based in Century City, it runs investment banking, brokerage, institutional sales and trading, and equity research.
