Profile

Absci CorporationABSIHealth Care

Combines a generative AI model with an automated wet lab to design antibodies against disease targets that lack any known binder, then advances the strongest candidates through early clinical testing while licensing the platform to larger drug makers for milestone and royalty payments.

Antibody therapeutics are designed computationally with a generative model, then tested through an automated wet lab that feeds results back into the model. This cycle targets disease proteins with no existing known binder, a category traditional screening struggles to address.

Two tracks run in parallel. An internal pipeline led by an anti-PRLR antibody is in early clinical testing for androgenetic alopecia, with an endometriosis indication planned next. A second antibody for inflammatory bowel disease finished initial human testing and is offered to outside partners rather than advanced internally, alongside earlier oncology candidates.

Revenue comes mainly from platform partnerships with larger drug makers, which license the design technology against specific targets for upfront fees, research funding, and milestone and royalty payments.

Operations are concentrated in one automated research campus in Vancouver, Washington, built around pairing computational design with rapid physical validation.
