Adds magnetic resonance spectroscopy to lumbar MRI and sells cloud-processed Nociscan reports that classify discs by pain-associated chemistry. Revenue is earned per completed report, with delivery reliant on compatible scanners, imaging centers, reimbursement and clinical adoption.
Adds magnetic resonance spectroscopy to a conventional lumbar MRI workflow, then cloud-processes the scan data into Nociscan reports intended to help clinicians distinguish discs whose chemistry is consistent with pain from those whose chemistry is not. The platform comprises Nocicalc-LS for spectral processing and biomarkers, Nocigram-LS for physician-facing classifications, and the web-hosted Nociweb interface.
Sells completed reports rather than equipment, working through enabled imaging centers while clinicians refer patients being evaluated for surgery. Most reported revenue came from the United Kingdom, where private insurers reimburse the service; U.S. use remains mostly direct-pay or provider-paid.
Depends on compatible Siemens and Philips MRI configurations, external imaging and commercial partners, licensed University of California biomarkers, reimbursement progress, and clinical evidence. Nocigram is marketed as clinical-decision-support software under the company's regulatory self-classification.
