Profile

Agenus Inc.AGENHealth Care

Develops BOT+BAL, an investigational anti-CTLA-4 and anti-PD-1 antibody combination for colorectal cancer and selected tumors. The clinical-stage immuno-oncology company combines internal development capabilities with selected collaborations and retained manufacturing capacity.

Develops BOT+BAL, an investigational combination of botensilimab, an anti-CTLA-4 antibody, and balstilimab, an anti-PD-1 antibody. The lead program is being developed for colorectal cancer and selected other tumors; neither component is approved for commercial sale.

Discovery and development combine internal translational, clinical, and regulatory work with selected collaborations. Earlier vaccine, adjuvant, and checkpoint-antibody programs inform a portfolio that the company narrowed after its strategic realignment.

Manufacturing flexibility depends on the Zydus collaboration, which provides committed capacity at transferred U.S. biologics facilities. Progress toward registration and commercialization depends on additional capital and regulatory development.
