Profile

Bank of America CorporationBACFinancials

Combines U.S. consumer and small-business banking with Merrill wealth management, corporate and investment banking, and global markets. Revenue spans net interest income, asset-management and transaction fees, and trading, while results depend on credit conditions, market activity and banking regulation.

Provides deposits, cards, mortgages and other lending to consumers and small businesses through Consumer Banking's nationwide branch and digital network. Global Wealth & Investment Management serves clients through Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank, combining brokerage, investment management, banking and trust services.

Global Banking delivers commercial and corporate lending, treasury services, advisory and securities underwriting. Global Markets provides institutional sales and trading, market-making, financing, clearing and research across fixed income, currencies, commodities and equities. Retail banking is U.S.-centered, while institutional operations span major international markets.

A large consumer deposit base supports lending, while wealth, investment-banking and markets fees diversify revenue beyond net interest income. That mix connects household, wealth and corporate relationships. Results remain tied to interest rates, borrower credit, market activity, and bank capital, liquidity and conduct regulation.
