Profile

Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P.BIPUtilities

Owns and operates utilities, transport, midstream, and data infrastructure across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. Regulated or contracted revenues support a model of acquiring long-life assets, improving operations, investing for growth, and recycling mature holdings into new opportunities.

Owns and operates essential infrastructure across utilities, transport, midstream, and data, with assets spanning the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. Regulated or contracted revenues underpin much of the portfolio.

Acquires long-life assets through Brookfield's global platform, invests operating and growth capital, and sells mature or de-risked holdings to fund new opportunities. This acquisition-and-capital-recycling model has expanded the portfolio from transmission and timberlands into rail, toll roads, gas systems, data centers, telecom networks, semiconductor manufacturing, containers, and railcar leasing.

Operates through a Bermuda limited partnership alongside BIPC, a Canadian corporation designed to provide substantially equivalent economic exposure. Results depend on regulated and contracted frameworks, shared sourcing and services from Brookfield, consortium structures, and continued access to asset-sale and capital-market funding.
