Pharmacy generates most revenue, while Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurers, pharmacy benefit managers, and care-facility customers fund the business. Reimbursement rules, drug purchasing economics, referrals, and access to pharmacists, nurses, therapists, and caregivers shape operations.
