Profile
Owns and charters very large gas carriers while operating in-house LPG trading and Product Services. Its value-chain extensions include terminal infrastructure and distribution, while the core business remains VLGC shipping.
Carries liquefied petroleum gas through VLGC ownership and chartering, with shipping as its core business. In-house LPG trading and the Product Services business extend the offering beyond vessel operations.
The business also has a growing presence in terminal infrastructure and distribution, alongside BW LPG India. Its operating evolution includes LPG-fuel retrofits and LPG-powered vessel operations.
BW Group reorganised the LPG business for public ownership, and BW LPG is dual-listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and NYSE. The present legal entity has roots in a broader BW shipping lineage.
Fleet growth and adjacent services developed through acquisitions and later initiatives keep VLGC shipping at the center.
