Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd.CANFHealth Care

Develops oral drug candidates targeting the A3 adenosine receptor, with pivotal programs in psoriasis and advanced liver cancer. Revenue comes from licensing arrangements, while development, manufacturing and eventual commercialization rely on external providers and territorial partners.

Develops orally bioavailable small molecules targeting the A3 adenosine receptor, which the company says is highly expressed in inflammatory and cancer cells but low in normal cells. Piclidenoson is in a pivotal psoriasis study, while Namodenoson is in a pivotal advanced hepatocellular carcinoma study and is also being studied in MASH and pancreatic cancer.

Runs development plans with a five-person Israel-based team and outsources preclinical work, trials and manufacturing to contract organizations. Its model combines upfront license payments, milestones, royalties and finished-product arrangements under territorial agreements, rather than product sales.

Retains core clinical development while regional partners handle local approval, distribution and eventual sales. No candidate had marketing approval or commercial product sales in the latest annual filing.
