Sells cloud-based fax and document-exchange services under the eFax brand, split between a direct-sold enterprise and healthcare channel and a self-serve small-office channel, with a growing healthcare-interoperability and AI-extraction product line layered on top of the core fax business.
Provides cloud-based fax and document-exchange services under the eFax brand through two channels: a direct-sold Corporate arm covering enterprise, healthcare, and government accounts, and a self-serve SoHo arm for small offices and home users. Healthcare is the largest customer vertical, ahead of government, financial services, law, and education.
The product line extends past core faxing into healthcare-interoperability tools that unify fax, secure messaging, and patient-data exchange with electronic health records, alongside AI-based document-data extraction and an e-signature product. HIPAA and FedRAMP compliance requirements keep fax embedded in these regulated workflows.
Descended from a fax-to-email service launched in 1995 and spun off as an independent company in 2021, it reports as a single Cloud Fax segment, runs at high cash margins, and directs free cash flow toward debt reduction and share buybacks rather than acquisitions across accounts in 46 countries.
