Its lead candidate, CTx-1301, uses Precision Timed Release to deliver dexmethylphenidate across the day in a once-daily tablet. The clinical-stage company's FDA application received a Complete Response Letter seeking manufacturing information.
Built around a multi-core delivery platform, Precision Timed Release (PTR) is designed to give CTx-1301 three timed releases of dexmethylphenidate in a once-daily tablet for ADHD. The company remains clinical-stage and conducts operations through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cingulate Therapeutics LLC (CTx). This is the company's lead ADHD program.
CTx-1301 entered FDA review for ADHD after adult and pediatric trials and other FDA-requested studies. The FDA issued a Complete Response Letter requesting specified chemistry, manufacturing, and controls information; Cingulate said the letter did not identify current clinical-safety or efficacy concerns.
