Profile

Cross Timbers Royalty TrustCRTEnergy

Collects net-profits income from mature oil and gas properties across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, then distributes remaining cash to unitholders. Fixed interests in royalties and working properties make income sensitive to commodity prices, operator decisions, and allowable costs.

Collects and distributes cash generated by fixed net-profits interests in mature oil and gas properties across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Its assets include royalty and overriding-royalty interests alongside cost-bearing working interests.

Relies on XTO Energy to calculate and remit underlying net proceeds, while the corporate trustee deducts expenses and reserve adjustments before monthly distributions. Third-party operators run field-development and operating programs; the Trust has no employees, cannot direct them, acquire replacement assets, or operate a drilling business.

Faces cost deficits that can delay income from individual working-interest conveyances, while its portfolio remains fixed and depleting.
