Develops and commercializes blood-purification cartridges based on porous-polymer adsorbent technology for critical care and cardiac surgery. CytoSorb is the flagship product, alongside marketed ECOS-300CY and VetResQ, while CytoSorb XL and DrugSorb-ATR remain in development.
CytoSorb is CE-marked in the European Union and distributed in more than 70 countries. A New Jersey medical-device subsidiary handles research, development, and commercialization, while European, Indian, and Dubai subsidiaries conduct sales and marketing.
CytoSorb is not authorized, cleared, or approved in the United States. DrugSorb-ATR, for antithrombotic-drug removal in cardiothoracic surgery, remains investigational there; North American commercialization depends on resolving regulatory deficiencies and obtaining authorization.
