Profile
Develops seed genetics and crop-protection products, earning revenue from seed and trait sales, licensing, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biologicals worldwide. A planned separation would spin Seed into Vylor and leave CTVA focused on Crop Protection.
Develops commercial seed and crop-protection products through two operating segments. Seed combines proprietary germplasm and traits for corn, soybeans, canola, cotton, sunflower and other crops, marketed through brands including Pioneer, Brevant and PhytoGen and through trait licensing. Crop Protection supplies herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, biologicals and nitrogen stabilizers, including Enlist, Arylex, Rinskor and Zorvec technologies.
Pairs genetics and chemistry research with direct farmer relationships, distributors and region-specific seed routes to market across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Demand and sales timing follow planting seasons, acreage, crop prices and weather, while commercialization depends on regulatory approvals and intellectual-property rights. A planned October separation would spin Seed into Vylor, leaving the CTVA-listed business focused on Crop Protection.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
