Profile

Cytokinetics, IncorporatedCYTKHealth Care

Develops and commercializes muscle-directed medicines, led by MYQORZO for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, while advancing cardiac myosin drugs for other forms of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Revenue now comes chiefly from its first commercial product, with additional programs dependent on clinical and regulatory outcomes.

Develops and commercializes small-molecule medicines that alter muscle contractility, centered on a specialty cardiology franchise. MYQORZO (aficamten), an oral cardiac myosin inhibitor for adults with symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, is launched in the United States and Germany; wider international access combines direct launches with regional partners. Pairs in-house muscle-biology research with a targeted sales model focused on specialist cardiologists and treatment centers.

Extends aficamten into non-obstructive and pediatric hypertrophic cardiomyopathy while advancing omecamtiv mecarbil for heart failure with severely reduced ejection fraction and ulacamten for a hypercontractile form of preserved-ejection-fraction heart failure. CK-089 keeps an early neuromuscular program in the portfolio. Product revenue currently depends on MYQORZO adoption, reimbursement, and required safety monitoring, while further growth depends on regulatory review and clinical-trial outcomes.
