Profile

Dole plcDOLEConsumer Staples

Produces, sources, markets, and distributes fresh fruit and vegetables through Fresh Fruit and diversified produce segments. The business combines Dole-branded bananas and pineapples with regional produce networks, serving retail, wholesale, foodservice, and e-commerce customers across international markets.

Fresh Fruit centers on bananas and pineapples sourced from company-owned and leased farms and independent producers, then moved through ripening, shipping, and distribution networks into North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

Diversified Fresh Produce - EMEA and Diversified Fresh Produce - Americas & ROW add local and imported produce categories such as grapes, berries, citrus, avocados, kiwis, and other fresh items. Retail and wholesale channels carry most volume, with foodservice, e-commerce, commercial cargo, and affiliate sales adding smaller paths to market.

Execution depends on managing perishability, grower relationships, shipping capacity, ripening assets, and regional customer networks. Fresh Vegetables is historical after the sale to Arable, so current reporting rests on the three continuing segments.
