Profile

Amdocs LimitedDOXInformation Technology

Builds and runs the back-end software telecom operators use to bill subscribers, manage accounts, and process orders, plus network tools for 5G charging and policy control. Delivery leans heavily on long-term managed-services contracts with a small set of large North American carriers, rather than one-off software sales.

Grew out of an Israeli phone-directory business founded in 1982 into the software that telecom operators use to bill subscribers, manage customer accounts, and process orders across post-paid and pre-paid plans.

Decades of acquisitions added network-domain tools — 5G charging, policy control, network optimization — plus media and content-licensing services, alongside more recent moves into cloud migration and generative-AI consulting for the same carrier customers.

Most of that work is delivered as multi-year managed-services engagements rather than one-off licenses, concentrated among a handful of large North American carriers that together generate most of the revenue. Development runs out of Israel and India, commercial operations are based in the US, and the parent company is incorporated in Guernsey.
