Profile

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.ELConsumer Staples

Develops and sells prestige skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care under brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, M·A·C, La Mer, Jo Malone London, TOM FORD and The Ordinary. Revenue comes from wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels worldwide, while the Lauder family retains voting control through a dual-class share structure.

Develops, markets and sells prestige skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care under more than 20 owned and licensed brands, including Estée Lauder, Clinique, M·A·C, La Mer, Jo Malone London, TOM FORD, Le Labo and The Ordinary. Distribution spans department stores, duty-free and specialty retailers, salons, brand stores and e-commerce across the Americas, Europe, emerging markets and Asia, including mainland China.

Uses shared product development, manufacturing and distribution to support its brands. Beauty Reimagined and One ELC emphasize innovation, consumer coverage and lower overhead. Fragrance delivered the strongest recent category growth while skin care remained the largest business. Results depend on retailer inventory, travel retail, Chinese demand, tariffs and foreign exchange; the Lauder family controls most shareholder voting power through a dual-class structure.
