Owns and operates a fleet of fifth-generation LNG carriers under a fixed-rate time-charter model, delegating all operations and commercial management to an external Norwegian affiliate. Owns and charters thirteen fifth-generation LNG carriers — MEGI or X-DF propulsion — to major energy companies under multi-year time charters, keeping most of the fleet on fixed daily hire rates.
Named charterers include Cheniere Marketing International, an unnamed oil-company supermajor, and a large Asian utility-trader. One hull typically remains available for spot or short-term fixing.
Organized as a near-shell Bermuda holding company; operations and commercial management are delegated to Flex LNG Management AS in Norway. John Fredriksen's family-trust entities hold a controlling stake, mirroring his pattern across Frontline and Golden Ocean.
All revenue concentrates in LNG seaborne transport and a small roster of charterers. EU Emissions Trading System allowances are separately disclosed; the stock trades solely on NYSE since the Oslo delisting in 2025.
