High-performance data centers in Chinese demand hubs connect customers to major networks and public clouds. The China-focused operation serves cloud, internet, financial, telecom, IT and enterprise customers, while GDS holds a minority interest in separately run DayOne.
High-performance data centers serve demand hubs in China with carrier- and cloud-neutral connectivity. Facilities are designed around large net floor area, high power capacity and density, efficient operations, and redundant critical systems.
The customer base spans hyperscale cloud providers, internet companies, financial institutions, telecom carriers, IT providers, and domestic and multinational enterprises. The business grew from continuity and disaster-recovery services into self-developed facilities.
DayOne is a separately run international data-center platform in which GDS retains a minority interest and accounts for it as an equity investee. Core operations remain focused on China.
