Profile

Globalstar, Inc.GSATCommunication Services

Provides satellite capacity for Apple device features, IoT asset tracking, SPOT emergency messengers, satellite voice and data, government services, and Band 53/n53 private-wireless systems. Service fees generate most revenue, led by the Apple wholesale agreement, tying the business to licensed spectrum and continued satellite-network renewal.

Runs a low-Earth-orbit satellite and gateway network that supplies wholesale capacity for Apple’s iPhone and Apple Watch satellite features. Commercial IoT modules and subscriptions track remote assets, while SPOT messengers support personal tracking and emergency communications and Duplex plans provide satellite voice and data.

Extends the same communications stack into government engineering services and terrestrial wireless through licensed Band 53/n53 spectrum and XCOM RAN systems. The integrated network, devices, and ground infrastructure serve customers worldwide beyond cellular coverage.

Wholesale capacity for Apple generates most revenue and uses most network capacity. Operations depend on spectrum and satellite licenses, reliable gateways and spacecraft, and execution of the replacement and next-generation constellations. The proposed Amazon acquisition remains subject to regulatory approvals and replacement-satellite milestones.
