Profile

IAC InterActive Corp.IACCommunication Services

IAC is a NASDAQ-listed media and internet company centered on People Inc., a large U.S. digital and print publisher. It also holds strategic equity positions in MGM Resorts International and Turo as it narrows away from older internet holdings.

IAC Inc. is a media and internet company whose operating focus has shifted toward People Inc., its portfolio of digital and print publishing brands including PEOPLE, Food & Wine, Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living, Travel + Leisure, Investopedia and Verywell. The company earns from digital advertising, performance marketing, subscriptions, newsstand sales and related publishing products, while its remaining search assets include Ask Media Group and legacy desktop search operations.

IAC has also used spin-offs and asset sales to simplify the portfolio: Angi became independent in 2025, and IAC agreed in 2026 to sell Care.com. Management has announced a planned corporate name change to People Incorporated by August 2026, reflecting a tighter focus on publishing and its investment in MGM Resorts International. Its main dependencies include advertising demand, digital audience growth, platform traffic patterns, print economics and the performance of its strategic holdings.
