Profile

Investcorp Credit Management BDC, Inc.ICMBFinancials

Supplies senior secured loans and related equity capital to privately held U.S. middle-market companies, earning mainly contractual interest and fees. The Nasdaq-listed BDC is externally managed by CM Investment Partners, which supplies its underwriting, portfolio management and administration.

Provides negotiated debt and related equity capital to privately held U.S. middle-market companies, emphasizing established borrowers with operating cash flow. Its menu includes first- and second-lien loans, unitranche and mezzanine loans, selectively paired with warrants or other equity positions; borrowers use the financing for acquisitions, growth, expansion, refinancing and recapitalization.

Investment income is chiefly contractual loan interest, with fees, dividends and changes in debt and equity values providing other sources. CM Investment Partners sources, structures and monitors investments while also administering the BDC, leaving the listed company without direct employees. The portfolio is U.S.-based, while BDC asset-coverage requirements, RIC tax rules, adviser personnel, borrowed funding and unquoted investment valuations shape the operating model.
