Profile

ICU Medical, Inc.ICUIHealth Care

Supplies hospitals and other care settings with IV consumables, infusion pumps and software, and vital-care devices, generating revenue from product and service sales. Operates as one segment, while sterile IV solutions are sold and distributed through its Otsuka joint-venture relationship.

Develops and manufactures infusion therapy, vascular access, and vital-care products for hospitals, clinics, home-care providers, and long-term-care facilities. Consumables include IV sets, needlefree connectors, catheters, hazardous-drug transfer systems, and tracheostomy products. Infusion Systems pairs large-volume, syringe, and ambulatory pumps with dedicated sets, medication-safety software, and professional services. Vital Care covers anesthesia, respiratory, hemodynamic monitoring, temperature-management, and pain-management products.

Sells worldwide through direct teams and distributors, with the portfolio managed as one reportable segment. Pump platforms and their dedicated disposables support integrated medication-delivery workflows. Sterile IV solutions are distributed for the Otsuka ICU Medical joint venture rather than owned as a controlled business. Medical-device approvals and quality systems govern commercialization; manufacturing is concentrated in the United States, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the Czech Republic, with some components sourced from single or limited suppliers.
