Develops allogeneic, off-the-shelf iNKT cell therapies for cancer and other immune-mediated diseases. Within a single reportable segment, it discovers, develops, and manufactures therapies, with agenT-797 its most advanced product candidate.
Formed as an Agenus subsidiary, it remains integrated with Agenus for finance, human resources, information technology, and legal functions. Its iNKT platform includes patent rights and know-how obtained through an Agenus intellectual-property assignment and license agreement.
The business depends on successful development and eventual marketing approval of agenT-797. Allogeneic iNKT cells are a novel immunotherapy approach that requires further testing.
