Dan Ives Wedbush AI Revolution ETF (IVES)
IVES: Dan Left Wedbush, What Now?
I'm rating the Dan IVES Wedbush AI Revolution ETF (IVES) a hold. The fund lost its namesake, stopped publishing its reports, and still charges 0.75% for returns that match a passive AI ETF. Since inception IVES returned 53.15% against AIQ's 53.51%. Investors paid 0.75% for the difference. Dan Ives left Wedbush on July 1st, 393 days after launch. The prospectus carries no key person risk disclosure, and Wedbush only says it "understands" he will keep compiling.

IVES: This AI Fund Probably Won't Deliver Long-Term Alpha
The Dan IVES Wedbush AI Revolution is off to a tremendous start in terms of attracting investor inflows. IVES holds a concentrated portfolio of mega-cap tech stocks, closely mirroring QQQ, but adds volatile, speculative small-cap AI names. The ETF initially outperformed but has since lagged major indexes, with recent underperformance driven by sharp corrections in more speculative picks.

IVES: A Prime Example Of How The ETF Business Has Gone Too Far (Sell Rating)
The Dan Ives Wedbush AI Revolution ETF has surpassed $750 million in assets under management since its June 2025 launch. IVES provides targeted exposure to 30 leading public companies at the forefront of AI infrastructure, software, semiconductors, and consumer internet platforms. But here's the catch: there's very little value-add here versus QQQ or perhaps other AI-themed ETFs that are crowded into that same trade.
The Smartest Artificial Intelligence ETF to Buy With $100 Right Now
Artificial intelligence (AI) may be the hottest investment theme on the planet right now -- and for good reason. Blend IVES With ARKQ For Balanced AI Investment
Blending ARKQ ETF with IVES ETF balances risk-driven upside from innovation with quality growth from mega-cap tech, capturing AI potential while cushioning volatility. ARKQ offers concentrated bets on disruptive innovators and benefits most from Fed easing and AI enthusiasm, but is more volatile in tightening cycles. IVES focuses on established, cash-rich tech leaders, providing resilience and steady growth, especially during higher-for-longer rate environments or AI market slowdowns.

IVES: Putting Dan's A.I. Insights Into One ETF
Dan Ives has been a table-pounder when it comes to the A.I. space. A few weeks back, Wedbush created an ETF that puts his top A.I. picks into one package. Wedbush's own Cullen Rogers gives investors a closer look into the Big Tech-centric ETF and how the firm aims to capitalize on "revolutionary" tech.
IVES: Too Big Tech Focused
Dan Ives' AI Revolution ETF is heavily weighted toward big tech, betting these giants will lead the AI boom. I see IVES as less risky than ARKK but less diversified and more expensive than QQQ, with missed opportunities in crypto and infrastructure. For tech exposure with lower fees and greater diversification, I recommend QQQ over IVES, given its proven track record and lower risk.
IVES: A Watershed Moment For Investors In The AI Revolution
I rate the Dan IVES Wedbush AI Revolution ETF a buy, given its focused exposure to leading AI innovators and strong early performance. IVES offers a concentrated portfolio of 30 stocks, balancing high-growth, high-volatility names with anchor holdings like NVIDIA and Microsoft. Despite a high 0.75% expense ratio and limited track record, IVES has already attracted $340M in assets and outperformed major tech benchmarks since launch.
