Profile

James Hardie Industries plcJHXMaterials

Produces fiber-cement and fiber-gypsum building products alongside composite and PVC decking, railing and exterior trim. The portfolio spans North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, while AZEK integration and the long-term asbestos-compensation funding framework remain structural obligations.

Produces exterior-home and outdoor-living materials spanning fiber cement, fiber gypsum, composite and PVC decking, railing and exterior trim. The portfolio includes Hardie, TimberTech, AZEK Exteriors, Versatex, fermacell and StruXure brands.

Operations extend across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, with most employees based in the United States. The operating model centers on contractor and customer demand creation and converting that demand into material sales.

The AZEK acquisition broadened the group beyond its fiber-cement core and made integration central to the current portfolio. The business also carries an ongoing funding and reporting obligation tied to asbestos claims against former entities that manufactured asbestos-containing products.
