Kingsway Financial Services is a Delaware holding company headquartered in Chicago with operating subsidiaries in the United States. Its strategy is built around the search-fund model, using operator-led acquisitions to add asset-light services businesses with recurring revenue. The Kingsway Search Xcelerator segment includes finance and human-resources consulting, executive staffing, healthcare staffing, outsourced cardiac telemetry, property-management software, IT managed services, electric-motor service and repair, and skilled-trades plumbing businesses.
The Extended Warranty segment markets and administers vehicle service agreements through credit unions and dealers and offers warranty and maintenance support products for HVAC, standby generator, commercial lighting and refrigeration equipment. The company depends on disciplined acquisition sourcing, the ability of portfolio operators to run acquired businesses, warranty distribution relationships, claims experience and service demand across its mixed operating-company base.
