Produces carbide cutting tools, tooling systems, earth-cutting tools, engineered wear components, and metallurgical powders for manufacturers and equipment-intensive industries. Metal Cutting is the larger of two segments, while Infrastructure adds energy, mining, construction, aerospace, and defense exposure.
Designs and manufactures cutting tools, tooling systems, and wear-resistant materials for general engineering, transportation, aerospace and defense, energy, and earthworks customers. Core materials include tungsten carbides, ceramics, and other super-hard compounds used where precision, heat, corrosion, and abrasion matter.
Metal Cutting supplies turning, milling, drilling, threading, and tooling-system products under Kennametal and WIDIA. Infrastructure provides earth-cutting tools, engineered carbide and ceramic components, metallurgical powders, and hardfacing solutions for mining, road construction, oil and gas, aerospace, and process industries.
Combines materials science with application engineering and direct, distributor, and digital sales across major industrial regions. Demand follows industrial cycles, while production depends on internationally sourced tungsten and compliance with trade, environmental, and workplace regulations.
