Acquires royalties, minerals and non-operated working interests in U.S. oil and natural-gas properties, earning its share of production while third-party operators retain control of drilling, development and sales.
Acquires royalty, mineral, overriding-royalty and non-operated working interests in oil and natural-gas properties. Revenue comes from attributable production sold and marketed by third-party operators, while royalty interests generally avoid well operating costs and working interests carry drilling, completion, production and eventual plugging obligations.
Builds a dispersed U.S. portfolio, centered on the Delaware and Midland basins within the Permian, by evaluating producing wells, behind-pipe reserves and undeveloped locations with independent engineering analysis. Keeps a compact internal team and relies on outside specialists, while all wells are operated by others. Operators control drilling schedules, development activity, production practices and capital spending.
