Sells systems, software, and services for storing, protecting, archiving, and managing unstructured data. Its single operating segment combines high-performance storage, data protection, and workflow tools with recurring service, subscription, and royalty revenue.
High-performance platforms include Myriad file/object storage, StorNext file-system data management, Unified Surveillance Platform, and ActiveScale object storage. DXi backup appliances, Scalar tape storage, and LTO drives and media support protection and archiving; CatDV manages media assets and workflows. Support, deployment, consulting, education, and Quantum-as-a-Service extend the offering.
Revenue spans products, services and subscriptions, and royalties across one reportable segment serving the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The current portfolio is built around storing, managing, protecting, archiving, and enriching unstructured data across performance, preservation, and workflow use cases rather than the hard-disk-drive business divested in 2001.
