Profile

Rent the Runway, Inc.RENTConsumer Discretionary

Generates recurring fees from monthly designer-apparel subscriptions, earns one-time rental fees through Reserve, and sells selected used inventory. Its centralized U.S. inventory and fulfillment network combine rental circulation, cleaning, repair, shipping, and resale.

Combines Subscription/Membership plans, Reserve short-term rentals, and Resale of selected pre-owned inventory in a single U.S. fashion-access platform. Monthly members rotate designer apparel and accessories, while Reserve customers book particular items for set dates; resale disposes of rental assets. Marketplace purchases, advertising/media, and outside cleaning are early-stage additions.

Runs a centrally managed wardrobe through leased fulfillment centers in New Jersey and Texas, where garments are received, inspected, cleaned, repaired, stored, and redistributed. Customer data, merchandising, and exclusive designs support selection and circulation, while retention, item availability, brand partners, shipping, payment providers, and the concentrated fulfillment network remain central operating dependencies. All revenue comes from the United States.
