Profile

Slide Insurance Holdings, Inc. Common StockSLDEFinancials

Writes homeowners, condominium, and commercial residential property coverage, earning premiums on direct and assumed policies distributed through agents and a direct channel. The book remains concentrated in Florida, with catastrophe reinsurance and state insurance regulation shaping capacity, pricing, and retained hurricane exposure.

Provides single-family homeowners, condominium, and commercial residential property insurance in catastrophe-exposed coastal markets. Premiums come from direct and assumed policies, with growth supported by independent agents, direct-to-consumer distribution, renewals, Citizens policy assumptions, and block acquisitions from other insurers. Nearly all direct written premiums still originate in Florida, while South Carolina is active and California recently launched through a specialty surplus-lines subsidiary.

Uses proprietary policy-level data, predictive analytics, automation, and aerial imagery to price and select risk. Underwriting, policy administration, and claims are supported by in-house insurance and service subsidiaries.

Operates as one insurance segment and earns primarily from premiums, policy fees, and investment income. Hurricane concentration makes catastrophe protection central: excess-of-loss reinsurance and catastrophe bonds transfer portions of loss exposure, while pricing, capital, policy assumptions, and non-renewals remain subject to state insurance regulation.
