Profile
Designs and manufactures hard disk drives for cloud data centers, enterprises and consumer storage, alongside SSDs, storage systems and Lyve data-transfer and cloud services. Hardware sales to OEMs, distributors and retailers depend heavily on hyperscale and cloud service provider procurement cycles.
Designs and manufactures hard disk drives for cloud data centers, enterprises, networked storage, surveillance, personal computing and consumer storage. Exos and HAMR-based Mozaic drives address high-capacity nearline workloads; IronWolf, SkyHawk and BarraCuda cover NAS, video and PC uses. LaCie sells external storage, while Lyve provides data-transfer hardware and cloud object storage; the broader portfolio also includes SSDs and storage systems.
Builds critical read/write heads and recording media in-house, linking drive design to manufacturing and capacity transitions. Revenue comes mainly from selling hardware to large OEMs, distributors and retailers, with Lyve adding consumption-based services.
Sales depend on hyperscale and cloud service provider procurement cycles. Manufacturing and most employees are concentrated in Asia, and operations depend on component supply and compliance with export controls.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
