Profile
Provides organized and self-guided leisure-travel packages through its digital platform, advisers, stores and livestreaming, while also earning commissions and other travel-related revenue. Packaged tours supply most revenue, and restricted mainland-China operations run through a VIE structure.
Operates a China-focused online leisure-travel platform centered on organized and self-guided packaged tours. Customers can purchase through tuniu.com and its mobile platform, with travel advisers, customer-service staff, offline stores and livestreaming providing sales and support. Its Niu Tour and Niu Select in-house lines sit alongside third-party products; self-guided packages combine flights, hotels and optional add-ons.
Earns most revenue from packaged tours, with travel-related commissions, products and merchandise providing the rest. It serves both domestic Chinese travel and outbound destinations, while organized and self-guided travel demand makes packaged tours the core economic driver.
The listed Cayman holding company relies on contractual arrangements with its China VIE and subsidiaries for restricted operations, which generate nearly all revenue. Operations also depend on PRC rules covering data, cybersecurity, foreign investment and overseas listings, as well as Nasdaq listing standards.
