Sells silver-bearing concentrates and finished silver from underground operations in Idaho and Mexico, with copper, lead, zinc and antimony by-products. Revenue rests on the Galena Complex and Cosalá Operations and is concentrated among a small group of offtake customers.
Operates the Galena Complex in Idaho and the Cosalá Operations in Sinaloa, Mexico, selling silver-bearing concentrates that also contain copper, lead, zinc and antimony. The Galena Complex includes the producing Galena mine and the Crescent mine under restart work, while Cosalá includes the San Rafael mine and the Los Braceros processing facility.
Concentrate revenue is recognized at delivery using provisional metal pricing, later adjusted as prices move; finished-silver revenue tracks London silver spot pricing. Mine development and production depend primarily on the two operating complexes, which require capital, permits, equipment and specialized personnel. A small group of customers generated all revenue in the reported year, while concentrate from the newer Cosalá silver-copper mine is committed to Trafigura under its financing agreement.
