Valion Bio, Inc.VBIOHealth Care

Develops licensed immunotherapeutic candidates for acute radiation syndrome and treatment-related cytopenias and operates a fee-based biologics CDMO through Velocity Bioworks. It combines drug development with internal and customer manufacturing from San Antonio; no Valion drug is approved.

Develops licensed immunotherapeutic candidates for acute radiation syndrome and treatment-related cytopenias, while operating Velocity Bioworks, a contract development and manufacturing organization. Entolimod is the primary development program; Entolasta is designed for repeat dosing. The CDMO serves external biotechnology customers with cell-line and process development, analytical and formulation work, and microbial and mammalian clinical manufacturing.

Combining those operations gives the drug programs access to internal manufacturing and makes San Antonio the core corporate and operating center. Development activity also extends to an investigator-led study planned in Israel and a registration review in Ukraine.

Product revenue depends on regulatory approval and commercialization, licensing or partnering, and potential government development or procurement support. The radiation-syndrome program follows the FDA Animal Rule, while both internal supply and customer programs depend on quality and CGMP compliance at the single San Antonio site.
