Profile

Vistance Networks, Inc.VISNInformation Technology

Sells Aurora Networks broadband-access, video, security and cloud infrastructure to cable and telecom operators. The portfolio supports both established hybrid fiber-coax networks and newer distributed and fiber architectures, while revenue depends on concentrated service-provider spending.

Supplies broadband-access and video-delivery infrastructure to cable, telephone and other facility-based service providers through the Aurora Networks business. The portfolio spans CMTS and CCAP platforms, distributed-access devices, optical nodes, passive optical networking, video processing and delivery, public-key infrastructure, transmission equipment and cloud-based network tools.

Combines installed-base hardware with virtualized and fiber-access products, helping operators expand hybrid fiber-coax networks, move processing closer to subscribers or migrate toward PON while retaining existing assets. Most sales come from U.S. customers, with additional business across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Canada and Latin America.

After completing the RUCKUS sale, continuing operations center on Aurora. Results depend on service-provider capital spending and a concentrated customer base, while delivery relies on component availability and a limited group of suppliers and contract manufacturers.
