Adial Pharmaceuticals, Inc.ADILHealth Care

Develops two unapproved precision-oriented drug programs: colon-targeted AT177 for ulcerative colitis and genetically guided AD04 for alcohol use disorder. The business operates with a small internal team and relies on outside providers for development and supply.

Develops two unapproved, precision-oriented drug programs: AT177, an oral colon-targeted prodrug intended for ulcerative colitis, and AD04, a very-low-dose ondansetron treatment paired with a genetic companion test for selected patients with alcohol use disorder. AT177 became the lead program through the acquisition of Azora Therapeutics and remains preclinical; AD04 requires additional pivotal work.

Operates from Virginia with a small internal team, using outside research, manufacturing and clinical-trial providers. Immediate AT177 development is U.S.-oriented, with U.S.-based GMP manufacturing planned, while AD04 development is primarily U.S.-focused and has a proposed, non-definitive European commercialization framework.

Neither program is approved, and the company has no product revenue or internal sales, marketing, or distribution capability. AD04's proposed use depends on both drug approval and an acceptable regulatory path for its companion diagnostic; development and supply depend on CROs, manufacturers and other contractors.
