Profile

Archer-Daniels-Midland CompanyADMConsumer Staples

Buys, transports and trades crops, then earns from processing oilseeds, corn and wheat into food, feed, fuel and industrial products, alongside human and animal nutrition ingredients. An integrated global logistics network links farm procurement with crushing, milling and customer delivery.

Connects farmers and crop suppliers with food, feed, fuel and industrial customers through an integrated origination, logistics and processing network. Ag Services and Oilseeds buys, merchandises, transports and stores crops, then crushes oilseeds into vegetable oils and protein meal. Carbohydrate Solutions mills corn and wheat into sweeteners, starches, flour, ethanol and feed ingredients.

Nutrition sells flavors, colors, plant proteins, health ingredients, premixes, complete feed and pet food. Operations source crops across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, with more activity in North America and Europe than South America.

Results depend on crop availability and prices, trade flows, transportation access, energy costs, and government policies governing trade and biofuels.
