Profile
Produces gold from the Island Gold District and Young-Davidson in Ontario and the Mulatos District in Sonora. Revenue depends on gold output and pricing, while growth centers on integrating Island Gold with Magino and developing Lynn Lake.
Produces gold at the Island Gold District and Young-Davidson in northern Ontario and at the Mulatos District in Sonora. The Canadian operations anchor the portfolio, while Mulatos remains the founding operation in Mexico.
Built its current operating base through the AuRico, Richmont and Argonaut transactions. Island Gold and adjacent Magino now form a single district combining underground and open-pit mining with shared mill and tailings infrastructure; expansion there and Lynn Lake in Manitoba make up the main growth program.
Operational results depend on ore grades, mined and processed tonnes, recoveries and gold prices. Delivery also rests on permitting, infrastructure integration and execution of large mine expansions. Founder and chief executive John A. McCluskey has led the business since its formation in 2003.
