Profile
Sells crude oil produced from mature fields offshore Southern California and in Wyoming to third-party purchasers. Operations center on development drilling, enhanced oil recovery and an integrated offshore processing-and-pipeline system, with the remaining portfolio limited to those assets.
Produces crude oil from mature operating areas: the Beta field in federal waters off Southern California and the Bairoil complex in Wyoming. Revenue comes from sales to third-party purchasers, while commodity derivatives can create separate gains or losses. The portfolio is concentrated wholly in U.S. assets and relies on development drilling at Beta and water and carbon-dioxide enhanced recovery at Bairoil.
Runs the Beta system through offshore well platforms, an on-platform processing hub and a wholly owned pipeline to Long Beach, while Bairoil depends on carbon-dioxide supply and compression infrastructure. The remaining asset base is limited to Beta and Bairoil, tying output to their uptime, permits, pipeline integrity, commodity prices and environmental obligations.

A Form 4 total here can count shares the filer formally disclaims — an award voted by proxy, for instance — which the holder's own Schedule 13D/G excludes, so where the two disagree the schedule's smaller figure is used.
