Profile

Arq, Inc.ARQIndustrials

Sells activated-carbon consumables for water treatment, remediation, air-emissions control, biogas purification, and asphalt additives. The operating base is powdered activated carbon in one APT segment, while GAC production and Corbin feedstock remain paused under an optimization review.

Sells consumable air, water, and soil treatment products built primarily around activated carbon. Product families include powdered activated carbon, granular activated carbon, colloidal carbon, Arq Powder Wetcake, and emissions-control additives for utility, industrial, water, remediation, biogas, and asphalt uses.

The business reports one APT segment and is concentrated in North America, with most sales in the United States and additional sales in Canada. Powdered activated carbon is the current operating base, supported by domestic feedstock and customer contracts that usually run for multiple years.

Granular activated carbon and Corbin Wetcake remain structurally important but unresolved. GAC production is paused, the Corbin facility has been idled, and management is reviewing production-process design and economics before setting the next GAC strategy.
