Profile

ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd.ASXInformation Technology

Provides outsourced semiconductor packaging, testing, and electronics manufacturing services through the ASE, SPIL, and USI groups. Packaging is the largest business line, while the cross-border manufacturing network links chip-level assembly and test with boards, modules, and completed electronic assemblies.

Provides outsourced semiconductor packaging and testing through ASE and SPIL, while USI adds electronics manufacturing services spanning boards, modules, and completed assemblies. The service chain covers conventional packaging, wafer-level and fan-out formats, System-in-Package, functional and reliability testing, and system assembly.

Manufacturing and service operations extend across Taiwan, mainland China, South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe. Integration across chip-level and system-level work supports customer programs from packaged semiconductors through electronic products.

Advanced packaging work centers on heterogeneous integration for AI and high-performance computing, including VIPack and FOCoS-Bridge architectures. Execution depends on sustained technology investment, outsourced customer demand, cross-border logistics, utilities, labor, local regulation, and wastewater controls in water-intensive manufacturing.
