Profile
Manufactures customer-designed integrated circuits as a dedicated foundry without selling competing branded chips. Process technologies and advanced packaging support chip designers, with Taiwan at the production core and manufacturing capacity expanding internationally.
Manufactures integrated circuits designed by customers as a dedicated foundry and does not market semiconductor products under its own name. Process technologies and advanced packaging give chip designers a manufacturing route from design work to high-volume production.
Taiwan remains the production center, while the manufacturing network is extending into the United States, Japan and Germany. The customer-partner model rests on not competing with chip-design customers and on combining technology, manufacturing and service.
Operations depend on reliable water and electricity, recovery from earthquakes and other disruptions, cybersecurity across facilities and suppliers, and government permissions affecting customers, equipment and technology transfers.
