Profile

The Boeing CompanyBAIndustrials

Builds commercial jetliners; military aircraft, weapons and space systems; and sells fleet support through parts, maintenance, upgrades, logistics and training. Revenue spans airlines and government customers, while aircraft production depends on regulator approvals and an extensive supplier network.

Designs, assembles and sells 737, 767, 777 and 787 commercial jetliners to airlines and cargo operators worldwide. Defense, Space & Security develops military aircraft and rotorcraft, weapons, satellites and space systems for U.S. and international government customers. Global Services supplies parts, maintenance, modifications, logistics and training across commercial and defense fleets.

Combines aircraft development and assembly with through-life support, while the Spirit AeroSystems acquisition brought major fuselage and aircraft-structure operations inside the group. Execution depends on production quality, supplier performance and certification of new aircraft and derivatives. Airline demand drives the commercial cycle; government budgets, procurement rules and fixed-price program performance shape defense results. Commercial production rates and new models remain subject to aviation regulator approval.
