Profile
Produces basic chemicals, polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC through an integrated model. Operations span Brazil, USA & Europe, and Mexico, with renewable-plastic initiatives.
Integrates basic chemicals with polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC, its core thermoplastic-resin lines, across Brazil, USA & Europe, and Mexico. The integrated model links upstream chemicals with resin production across its regional platform rather than a single-product manufacturing business. U.S. and German polypropylene assets and the Braskem Idesa complex in Mexico expanded that platform.
Industrial units span Brazil, the United States, Germany and Mexico, alongside renewable-plastic initiatives. A Texas facility produces ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. Petrochemical-cycle and feedstock exposure, commitments tied to the Maceió geological event, and an ongoing governance transition shape operations.
