The franchise was assembled through local bank, card-processing and consumer-finance combinations, while Santander group technology supports its current operating model.
Revenue and credit performance depend on Chilean economic activity, inflation, interest rates and local credit conditions. Capital, liquidity, cybersecurity, financial-crime and broader regulatory requirements shape operations, and Banco Santander, S.A. retains majority control.
