Profile
Makes a portable EEG headband and recorder that a nurse can apply to an ICU patient within six minutes, paired with an AI layer that flags seizures automatically and alerts the care team around the clock. Revenue comes from selling single-use headbands alongside a recurring software subscription for the detection and monitoring layer.
Makes a bedside headband-and-recorder system that screens ICU and emergency patients for seizures, built so a floor nurse rather than a specialist can apply it and get a reading within six minutes. An AI layer on top of the hardware flags abnormal activity and alerts the care team continuously, extending coverage beyond the hours a dedicated EEG reader is available.
Revenue splits between single-use headbands sold per patient and a recurring software subscription covering the detection algorithm, recorder, and clinician portal. Clearances have widened from adult seizure detection to pediatric and neonatal patients, and the same platform now covers delirium monitoring, with stroke detection under regulatory review.
Adoption runs hospital by hospital against an installed base of conventional EEG systems from established neurodiagnostics vendors, and further indication clearances remain central to expanding use beyond acute seizure care.
