Generates charter hire from globally deployed drybulk carriers and crude- and product-tankers, using time and voyage charters. Revenue and utilization turn on spot and short-charter market conditions, while an affiliated manager handles nearly all commercial, technical and administrative functions.
Owns and operates a mixed ocean-shipping fleet of Handysize drybulk carriers, an Aframax crude-oil tanker and an MR product tanker. The drybulk vessels move iron ore, coal, grain and other bulk cargoes, while the tankers carry crude oil and refined products for industrial users, commodity producers and traders, oil producers, and refineries. Ships trade globally across the Middle East–Far East route, Mediterranean, Northwest Europe, Africa, the United States and Latin America.
Earns charter hire through short time charters, trip time charters and voyage charters, balancing contracted employment with spot exposure as market conditions change. Reliability, safety and competitiveness guide operations, but utilization and revenue depend on charter rates, vessel availability and a small fleet. Commercial, technical and administrative functions are provided by affiliated manager Brave Maritime; vessel crews are supplied by Hellenic Manning Overseas.
